Born in 1937, Niazi started painting when he was a child. He entered the Kamalolmolk School of Art in 1953 and went through the various classes of painting including Classic and Academic with well-known artists such as Mahmoud Olia, Hossein Sheikh, Mehdi Vishkaei and Mahmoud Javadipour. In 1961 the Iranian artist Manouchehr Sheibani taught him modern art and he then studied the history and theory of modern painting with David Morley, the American Art critic.
In fact the development of his painting process began with academic art, and then through Impressionism, Futurism and compound Cubism, which culminated in Surrealism.
Beside his painting efforts, Niazi also studied Classical music with Evelyn Baghcheban.
His work is that of an unusual world and nature is pretext for him to express himself through forms and colors.
Beyond all the movements of his brush, his aim is painting for art. There is no rest in his painting style and he is always in search, as must be the real character of a painter.
He has a very sensitive nature inspired by the least movement to create a more profound work. This is sometimes quiet and sometimes full of excitement and rebellion.
Niazi has held more than 120 solo exhibition and taking part in 283 group exhibitions. He has honored and got awards in Iran, USA and Paris.
