He understood and comprehended a language unintentionally which could make up for his silence. According to his uncle's advice, He continued his studies in art school and got his painting diploma .Immediately after art school, he entered the college of fine arts without entrance exam (1941). At this time he started painting natural scenes and landscapes. "I was so interested in the portrays and scenes of plains and deserts .I went to the country a lot to paint and draw , I had a special interest to the farmers and painted the result of their struggle ".
Nothing could saturate the thirsty soul of Ameri more than nature." I started to understand the mystery of spiritual beauties knew the contradictions and felt the movements. I saw the colors and the lights and began to find out my inner feelings towards whatever I saw. I practiced in the nature and sometimes I sought asylum to the mountains at nights, especially under the moonlight which was as if the sky got wider, all the places became brightened .The silence and the breeze made me closer to the nature and its inner mysteries. Mr. Ameri finished university with to marks In 1947. After three years teaching at the art school of girl's fine arts, he was transferred to the workshop of ornamental arts of art and culture ministry (1955-1957) .He was involved with the works like the design of rugs' patterns and Gleim( coarse carpet) and Ceramics . Abdollah Ameri has rarely had a presence in art forums and has held a few individual and group exhibitions .His firs exhibition was held at Apadana painting house (The house of fine arts) in 1950
His second exhibition was held in 1956 in "Mehregan Club" which was a very big exhibition of the works of both modern and traditional painters .Then he participated in two biennales (Tehran) in 1959 and 1961.His first individual exhibition was held in 1963 in Farhang Hall .His next individual exhibition ,was held 16 years later i.e. in 1979 . Abdollah Ameri, along with many others who were the first people graduated from the fine arts of Tehran University, got familiar with modernism in painting and with schools such as Impressionism and post Impressionism and experienced them during his studies .At the same time he continued gaining experiences with all the novel approaches in the field of painting .Therefore he experienced common approaches in painting such as cubism, abstractive painting and half abstract ones ,surrealism and also the Iranian art, and finally according to his will and desire pursued a style and technique in his painting . In spite the varieties in the works of Abdollah Ameri, there are two points which are so outstanding in his works, the first point is semantics and the other is the love to the nature
