There is variety of approaches in akbari’s paintings. His basic field is realism. Before the age of 19 he had experienced different styles such as Impressionism, Expressionism, figurative and abstract and he had had several solo exhibitions. The techniques were oil, ink and watercolor. His boldly paint tush, his proficiency in painting and going beyond the rules to have a poetical approach to the nature, have made him a creative young artist. 1997, Akbari’s new experienced works of art (sagha khanei style) were exhibited in Laleh Gallery in Tehran. The forms were taken from Iranian traditional short napped coarse carpet forms, written professionally close together to cover the canvas.
Till 1999, Akbari experienced different styles; for example in figurative the Jesus painting is fantastic work of art. These are all far from realism but they created due to his basic filed which was realism. In an exhibition held in Seyhoun Gallery 2002, akbari’s simple forms of abstract in which the whole paper painted with just two or three yellow and black paint tush in vertical or horizontal opposite to a red circle in a corner, attracted viewers interest.
The paintings were in small size and it was clear that the artist needed some minutes to paint them. They are the mixture of abstract and naturalism in which the artist’s intention goes beyond abstract and naturalism and reminding the eastern approach to the nature with the very basic forms of painting for creating what he feel and get from the nature.
What you see in his exhibition is a selection works of Mohammadhossein Akbari. His other works of art will be available very soon on the website.
